Chad | What is needed to secure the wig on the head model?

Securing wigs on mannequins primarily relies on two types of tools: basic securing tools and auxiliary styling products.

To ensure the wig is securely attached to the mannequin and doesn't slip easily, the combination method usually needs to be flexibly selected based on the usage scenario and wig type.

I. Basic Secure Tools

1. T-pins: The most common and efficient tool. The pin is inserted vertically into the top of the mannequin, with the exposed part hooking onto the bottom of the wig net. Suitable for long-term securing or display purposes.

2. Velcro (Hook and Loop Fasteners): Velcro is sewn onto the inside of both the mannequin and the wig. It maintains its stickiness even after repeated application and removal, suitable for scenarios requiring frequent reassembly and disassembly.

3. Hairnet + Elastic Cord: First, a hairnet is placed over the mannequin, then the wig is covered, and finally, an elastic cord is used to tighten it around the bottom edge of the mannequin. Suitable for short-term styling and with minimal damage to the wig.
