Panama | What are the problems with hair dyeing

Common problems with hair dyeing using mannequin heads mainly fall into four categories: uneven coloring, hair damage, color deviation, and operational errors. These issues are particularly noticeable when using 100% human hair mannequin heads, as their reaction mechanism is highly similar to real hair.

Uneven Coloring: Mottled color with varying shades. This is the most common problem, especially among beginners.

Improper Sectioning: Failure to properly section and fix the hair on the mannequin head leads to missed areas or repeated accumulation of dye.

Hair Texture Differences: On the same mannequin head, the roots (new hair) and ends (old hair) have different cuticle conditions and dye absorption capacities due to varying usage frequencies, easily resulting in "shallow roots, dark ends" or "dark roots, light ends."

Uneven Dye Thickness: Uneven application pressure results in some areas having too much dye, making the color too dark, while other areas have too little, resulting in insufficient color.
